I am fortunate to have studied graphic design with some brilliant professors. I fell in love with Paul Rand, Saul Bass, Wolfgang Weingart, Herbert Matter, Piet Zwart, Massimo Vignelli, Milton Glaser, Adrian Frutiger—the list goes on. Imagine, a kid from Chicago's La Villita neighborhood dreaming about the values of the Bauhaus and the Swiss International Style.
A career in advertising has given me the opportunity to travel the world and work alongside some very talented people. I am also lucky to have my kids to keep me forever young and curious. My life experiences are what continue to feed my creativity and my work.
